Tragedy as football fan dies during crunch relegation match

 A Blackpool supporter, Graham Sharman, has died after suffering a medical emergency during Saturday's League One match against Peterborough.

The incident occurred in the second half of Blackpool's 3-1 victory at Bloomfield Road.

Despite the best efforts of medical professionals, Mr Sharman sadly passed away.

Blackpool Football Club released a statement expressing deep sadness and offering condolences and support to his family.

The club's thoughts are with Graham's family and all those connected at this difficult time.
