Thomas Muller breaks silence after losing to Messi & Inter Miami

 The MLS Cup final saw Inter Miami make history in winning their first-ever MLS Cup trophy. Inter Miami managed to beat the Vancouver Whitecaps 3-1 at Chase Stadium.

An own goal from Edier Ocampos gave Inter Miami the lead, but Ali Ahmed from the Vancouver Whitecaps made it 1-1 in the second half. Lionel Messi provided two crucial assists that led to Inter Miami's victory.

Rodrigo De Paul gave Inter Miami a 2-1 lead in the 71st minute, and in the 96th minute, Tadeo Allende scored the final goal of the match.

Ahead of the MLS Cup final, one of the focuses of the matchup between Inter Miami and the Vancouver Whitecaps is the battle between Messi and Thomas Muller, who have now played each other 11 times throughout their careers.

Though Muller remains to have more wins over the Argentine, Messi was victorious over the German this time in the MLS. It was the seocnd time both players played against each other in a final.

Muller broke his silence after his team lost the MLS Cup Final to Inter Miami. The German star wrote, "Thank you for the great support to all Vancouver Whitecaps fans," on his social media page.

Muller was clapping the traveling Vancouver Whitecaps fans who made the trip to Chase Stadium for the MLS Cup Final. Muller also spoke with the media after the match and showed respect to Lionel Messi.

Thomas Muller spoke about Lionel Messi after the MLS Cup Final, where the Argentine was victorious over him for the fourth time after 11 matchups against each other.

Muller credits Messi for his performance against his team in the final. Muller said, "Leo Messi had three assists, and I had none. He won that duel. He secured the title; there is no point pretending otherwise."

The German star also spoke directly to the fans on a video he recorded himself. Muller said, "Tough night...We could've won it tonight, we gave everything we had, but it wasn't enough. Congrats to Miami."
